    June 1st and June 2nd - TEXTBOOK/CHROMEBOOK/LIBRARY BOOK RETURN-9am-12noon in the MPR ONLY (you may leave any other items you need to drop off or return on that day as well)

    Monday, June 1st for Kinder, 1st, 3rd and 5th

    Tuesday, June 2nd for 2nd, 4th and 5th

    If you have multiple students at Big Springs, you may return for all grade levels on the same day. Please follow social distancing guidelines and we ask that you please wear a mask when on campus.

    March 23-June 5, 2020- School is closed due to a national emergency. Distance learning has begun!! Please keep in touch with your teacher and have your student log in each day!



    SCHOOL OFFICE is CLOSED to the public, BUT for Enrollments ONLY-office hours are 9am-1pm. Tables are set up in front of the office for pick up and drop off of enrollment packets. Please call or email with questions.

    Parents-please update Aeries with current phone numbers and email addresses if anything has changed for you recently. 


    YEARBOOKS UPDATE! The yearbook printing has been delayed due to the shutdown. Yearbooks will NOT arrive until late June. The PTA will let you know date and time for yearbook distribution as soon as possible. Please stay tuned and continue to watch our website, text messages and emails. 

    Yearbook sales have ended, but additional yearbooks are always ordered. You may not place an order at this point, but you may be able to buy a yearbook during the distribution of yearbooks in late June. 


    Spring pictures from Cornerstone! The gallery of photos will be up soon and you will receive and email from Cornerstone.  Online orders will be mailed directly to your home. Any questions, please call Cornerstone at 805-529-1635.


    AERIES Parent/Student Portal

    Please activate your Aeries Parent Portal Account as soon as possible! With the Aeries Parent Portal you can update medical, contact and demographic information, as well as read and sign Simi Valley Unified School District's Acceptable Use Policy and other important documents. In the past, you would have signed these documents in our Parents Rights' Handbook. You may view these documents in the Aeries Parent Portal under the "Documents" tab.

    Parents-if you need to bring your student in late and you would like your student to get a hot lunch, please call the office before 9 a.m. to let us know.

    Our lunch count goes in at 9 a.m.

    Kindergarten: 9:30 to 9:50 a.m.
    1st, 3rd & 5th Grades: 9:50 to 10:10 a.m.
    2nd, 4th & 6th Grades: 10:15 to 10:35 a.m.


    Kindergarten: 11:05 to 11:45 a.m.
    1st & 3rd Grades: 11:30 a.m. to 12:10 p.m.
    2nd & 5th Grades: 11:55 a.m. to 12:35 p.m.
    4th & 6th Grades: 12:20 to 1 p.m.

    Dismissal at 2:09
